When will I receive a new Bancontact card?

In case your Bancontact card is expired, lost or stolen, you will receive a new card from your bank. Your new bank card will have no impact on your daily payments. With your new Bancontact card, you can still easily make payments in stores or online via Bancontact.  

Also, paying with the Payconiq by Bancontact app remains unchanged. In case you receive a new bank card because your old card expired or malfunctioned, then for most banks, your old card will be automatically replaced by your new card in your app.
