Are there any costs when using the Bancontact card?

If you are a user of the Bancontact card or the Payconiq by Bancontact app, there is no cost. The use of the Bancontact card and the Payconiq by Bancontact application is free. You never pay any additional fees for your transactions. 

However, if you are a merchant and you provide the Bancontact payment method to your clients, there is a cost you pay for the transaction. To find out the details about those cost, we invite you to contact your service provider (PSP).
